So let me just start off by saying that my FabFitFun Fall Box is NOT given to me for free by FabFitFun. I am NOT paid to write this review. I sincerely enjoy this product and love to share it with people. Because I kind of feel like I missed out on it for so long and I don’t want that to happen to you. So I want to share all the details about my Fabfitfun 2018 fall subscription box.
I will say though, I do get a small commission if you choose to sign up for the FabFitFun subscription box. It will not cost you any extra and it does not at all change my opinion on this box (aka.. I’m not just trying to push sales here people!)
(P.S. – You can get $10 off your first box with the code: FIRSTBOX)
What is FabFitFun?
If you read my other FabFitFun posts then you should know already! But if you are new here, then let me tell you a little about the product and what you are getting.
FabFitFun is a subscription box service you sign up for. They send out boxes full of goodies 3 times a year (spring, summer, fall, winter). Each box is filled with anything from $250 or more worth of new products. And hence the name, it can be anything that’s fabulous, keeps you fit, or is just fun to have.
The nice thing is, you get all this stuff for only $50 (that’s for each box). At first, $50 seemed like a lot to me so I held off on signing up for the FabFitFun box for a really long time. But then I decided “to hell with it!” and signed up.
Now when I get these fun subscription boxes, I honestly wonder how FabFitFun even makes any money at all. Here’s a quick list of why I really really really like FabFitFun:
- The products are NICE… like I mean really nice. Great quality and pricey in real life. One box contained some Kate Sommerville face exfoliate. This stuff sells for $40 at Nordstroms. But it was one of a dozen things in my box I paid $50 for.
- I would never think to buy these products myself. Last winter I got a poncho.. not really my thing. But I ended up LOVING it. Who knew!
- I don’t even have to think about it. It just comes every 3 months. Which is AMAZING for busy moms like me.
- You get useful tips and advice on how to use the products or new ways to try things.
- Don’t tell the husbands of the world this… but it’s like a nice little gift to myself. Cause let’s be honest, the gifts guys buy us can be pretty bad.
Ok… I think I got my point across. I really like this subscription box. And I have tried several. Some I recommend and some I don’t. FabFitFun has remained my favorite.
FabFitFun Fall 2018 Subscription box
Here we go! This section is for those of you who need to know exactly what you are spending your money on. I get it, I was the same way.
So if you want to sign up for the box and don’t want to spoil it, then just go here and skip the rest of this! But if you are curious what’s inside this magical box… then here we go!
Beautyblender – $20
If you use makeup sponges to apply makeup, then you know exactly what this is for and I don’t need to explain further. I like that the sponge comes with a rounded edge (for all over your face) and a pointed tip (for sides of the nose and under your eyes)
FabFitFun gives you the suggestion of wetting it before use and I’ve never done that before… so now I’m going to try it!
Simply whimsical tea towels – $14.99
Simple kitchen towels. Nothing too crazy or fancy about them. But I do like that they are in a very light gray and white pattern so they would match practically any kitchen. Comes as a set of two.
Skin&co roma blue in capri – $22
This is a fun shower gel that is scented with lemon, wild sage, and alpine rose and inspired by lemon farmers in Capri. Fancy huh? You can use this as a shower gel OR a bubble bath. I tried it as a bubble bath and it left my skin really really soft.
Glamglow bubblesheet oxygenating deep cleanse mask – $18
Now see this is what I’m talking about. These deep cleansing masks are something I would never buy on my own, but now I get to try them out. It says it gives you a 3D tingling cleanse experience. The microbubbles instantly invigorate and detoxify the skin.
You only need to leave it on for 3 minutes so any busy mom can use these, and you can wash your face with the remaining bubbles.
crown brush 6 piece set – $75
THIS is one of those pieces I am so happy with! First of all, look at the price. This one product alone is worth more than the whole FabFitFun box. And lord knows we all need a few extra makeup brushes.
What’s even better is this got delivered 2 days before I went on vacation. So this perfect little set in its perfect little travel case just became my new travel makeup essentials!
Alfred French press – $22
Full disclosure, I only started drinking coffee 2 years ago. I started with instant and progressed to a cheap coffee maker. Nowadays I’m super fancy and use a Keurig. But a coffee press? Well, that puts me up a notch in the coffee lovers world!
Not to mention it will make me look super fancy when I have guests come over! Oh, and you can make a killer cold brew in this too!
FabFitFun lets you customize some pieces and if you are not a coffee drinker, you could have chosen a teapot instead.
Catherine Malandrino umbrella in red floral – $39.99
This was another customizable piece. You could choose this umbrella or a pair of wireless earbuds. I live in Arizona and yet I chose the umbrella, haha! But here’s why… first of all, I have enough headphones so I really didn’t need anymore. Second, they don’t sell good umbrellas in Arizona!
And you also get to choose between this red floral I chose and a black and white floral. I chose red because I have awesome red hunter boots and this umbrella matches them perfectly! Oh yeah!
