Christmas came early for me this year! My FabFitFun Box arrived and I am once again smitten with it. I feel like I’m becoming a broken record because I constantly say how much I love this subscription box… but seriously, I really do! And I don’t want you to miss out. So I’m going to show you what’s inside my FabFitFun Winter 2018 Box!
If you already know you want the box and don’t want to spoil the surprise, then skip ahead! Or, if you would like to look at past FabFitFun Boxes and see what I got, you can check those out here:
As you can see, I really really like FabFitFun. I’ve been getting the boxes for well over a year now and not to sound cheesy, but each time seems to get more exciting. And I do want to say this again… that my FabFitFun Fall Box is NOT given to me for free by FabFitFun. I am NOT paid to write this review. I sincerely enjoy this product and love to share it with people. Because I kind of feel like I missed out on it for so long and I don’t want that to happen to you. So I want to share all the details about my Fabfitfun 2018 Winter subscription box.
I will say though, I do get a small commission if you choose to sign up for the FabFitFun subscription box. It will not cost you any extra and it does not at all change my opinion on this box (aka.. I’m not just trying to be a pushy salesperson!)
FabFitFun is a subscription box service you sign up for. They send out boxes full of goodies 3 times a year (spring, summer, fall, winter). Each box is filled with anything from $250 or more worth of new products. And hence the name, it can be anything that’s fabulous, keeps you fit, or is just fun to have.
What is FabFitFun?
FabFitFun is an awesome subscription box. Meaning you sign up once, and you are automatically enrolled to get a box every 3 months. But don’t let that scare you. It made me hesitate for a long time. But you seriously get all this stuff for only $50 (that’s for each box) and to be honest, a lot of the items in the box are $50 by themselves. So it really is a smoking deal.
Here’s a quick list of why I really really really like FabFitFun:
- The products are NICE… like I mean really nice. Great quality and pricey in real life. One box contained some Kate Sommerville face exfoliate. This stuff sells for $40 at Nordstroms. But it was one of a dozen things in my box I paid $50 for.
- I would never think to buy these products myself. Last winter I got a poncho.. not really my thing. But I ended up LOVING it. Who knew!
- I don’t even have to think about it. It just comes every 3 months. Which is AMAZING for busy moms like me.
- You get useful tips and advice on how to use the products or new ways to try things.
- Don’t tell the husbands of the world this… but it’s like a nice little gift to myself. Cause let’s be honest, the gifts guys buy us can be pretty bad.
Here is what my FabFitFun Winter 2018 Box looks like…
Products in My FabFitFun Winter 2018 Box
So you can see for yourself the real value of these products, I’m going to list each one and tell you what it is, how much it costs outside of the box, and a quick review of it… so here we go!
Moroccan gold series treatment mask – $ 49
This is a great example of something that’s the real value. The price of this one item is the same price as the entire box. This is a hair mask you leave on after you shampoo, and then rinse out after a few minutes. It’s meant to treat split ends and strengthen hair. I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but I for sure will. My hair needs this!
Lele sadoughi silver circle necklace – $49
This silver plated circle necklace is a gem. It’s an adorable piece and exactly what I love, something minimalistic yet pretty. It’s the perfect piece to wear every day and goes with anything you could own.
Ahava hydration cream mask – $33
First a mask for your hair and now one for your face. I’m gonna be glowing head to toe! This cream is made with mineral spring water, shea butter, and vitamin E. It’s meant to smooth and hydrate your skin, which is great when you live in a dry environment like the desert of Arizona!
Blaq hydrogel eye mask with hyaluronic acid – $29
Here is another item that makes me love FabFitFun. These eye masks help detox your under-eye area and reduce puffiness. I would never otherwise buy this product or even know it existed. But now I get to try them out and get to use some beauty products I would never have normally treated myself to.
Essential oil set – sweet orange and eucalyptus Oil – $31
These fun oils can be applied directly to your skin. The Eucalyptus oil helps sore soothe muscles (for when I start working out again, haha!). And the Sweet Orange ease stomach cramps and headaches… hello ladies! Again, another cool product that I would never buy for myself, but now I get to try them out!
Thrive causemetics brilliant eye brightener – $24
I was super excited to see this product because I almost bought this! I saw this in an add and loved how it easily brightened your eyes with just a quick application. Thank goodness I didn’t purchase it already because it came in my FabFitFun box. Whoo Hoo! Total score.
Pur be your selfie palette – $36
This was another product I was super happy to see in the box. I love trying new eyeshadows and this palette has a great variety of some fun shimmery ones. Perfect for the Holidays coming up and getting to try out new looks! I took a close up of the palette so you can see the colors more clearly.
Brooke Burke body sliders – $18
You can actually follow Brooke Burke on FabFitFun TV to learn how to use these cool workout sliders. So no, your Fabfitfun box does not just stop with the products, you get workout videos too!
Mark & Graham colorblock throw in gray/ivory – $49
This adorable woven throw is the perfect neutral color so it looks good in any room, on any surface. It’s also soft and warm and not too bulky. You may just see this popping up in some of my Instagram feed! I included one close up of the throw so you can see the color block and another of it spread across my bed.
Another thing I really like is that every box comes with this fun magazine. Inside, it gives you the details about all the products you receive and how to use them. They also have inspiring stories about the creators or even Fabfitfun users like you and me.
The magazine also features the charity they work with. This season they are giving back to Kindness Factory. The Kindness Factory’s mission is to achieve 1 million acts of Kindness by 2020! Acts of kindness can be anything from volunteering at a shelter to checking up on a neighbor. Check the website out and log your acts of kindness HERE! You can also encourage others to participate by using #OneSmallAct
